Confident and Competent Girls

In this group we will focus on Middle School girls and their relationships with themselves, their parents and their peers.  We will explore issues such as trust and betrayal, control and discipline, school, peer and familial expectations and gender stereotypes. This is a 6 week group.

Mindful Eating: Eat To Live - Stop Living To Eat

We will begin by investigating what prompts us to abuse food.  We will ask why do we hide or numb ourselves from our true selves? We will seek to understand the underlying reasons for food compulsions, including; stress, loneliness, relationship challenges and unresolved issues from the past.

Self-Esteem and Stress Management for Women

Women participating in this group will identify how to enhance the process of staying well and/or healing by understanding how their emotional, physical and spiritual self works together.  Additionally, each week women will develop new skills via participating in a stress reducing exercise.  .

Most central for most of us is our connection and our relationship with others.  When these are faulty, we may feel depleted.  The easiest way to refuel is to reconnect with others and give and receive support.

Parenting for Parents of Young Children

Most parents want to raise loving, caring and confident children.  We long for strong connections and intimate experiences with our children.  This 6 week group allows parents to gain support from one another, share experiences and identify new ways of parenting and relating with their children.

This group assists and challenges parents to play with their children.  Through play, parents can strengthen the bond with their children and can develop skills to help their children manage their struggles.
